The post received over 100 comments, with scores of people declaring Chicken Licken wings simply the best — hands down.
However, despite getting the highest results, there were some complaints about the inconsistency in wing portions and the concerning level of salt.
Those who vouched for KFC zinger wings stated that the main difference between these wings and those from Chicken Licken is the consistently bigger portions, which makes them more enjoyable.
However, their issue is that the wings tend to be slightly hard, making them difficult to chew.
CHICKEN LICKEN PULLED AN APRIL FOOL’S PRANK ON US
The country almost came to a standstill when the brand pulled a convincing April Fool’s prank, claiming that rubber bands would soon be discontinued.
The prank evoked quite a mixed bag of reactions. Some people wondered how the box would hold meals together, while others quickly realised it was a prank.
Their statement read:
“After much consideration, we’ve decided the decision to discontinue our rubber bands at all Chicken Licken branches with immediate effect. Remaining rubber bands will be available while stocks last.”
