Mayon Volcano update: Alert Level 3 stays

MANILA, Philippines — Mayon Volcano in Albay remains under Alert Level 3 which signifies intensified unrest as it had 24 volcanic earthquakes and other seismic activities in the last 24 hours, the Philippine Institute for Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said on Saturday.  Phivolcs said that entry into the six-kilometer radius permanent danger zone remains prohibited.
