CALASIAO, Pangasinan – Sixteen individuals from the Ilocos Region have surrendered to authorities and disengaged from the local communist movement. According to Police Regional Office 1 (PRO 1), nine were from communist front organizations, six were affiliated with groups linked to the New People’s Army, and another was a member of an underground mass organization.
