MANILA, Philippines—More than 85% of precincts in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) were covered by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting’s (PPCRV) partial, unofficial parallel count as of Monday night.
Data from the PPCRV dashboard showed 4,454 of 5,212 precincts, or 85.46%, had reported as of 9:03 p.m. on Sept. 14. The dashboard also recorded 1,632,127 total votes at the time of the update.
This left 758 precincts, or about 14.5% of the total, not yet reflected in the PPCRV count.

Among the areas listed on the dashboard, Tawi-Tawi had the highest precinct completion rate at 94.83%, followed by the Special Geographic Area at 91.39% and Maguindanao del Sur at 90.41%.
Lanao del Sur had a completion rate of 85.15%, while Maguindanao del Norte was at 82.01%.
Basilan had the lowest completion rate among the areas with figures displayed, at 71.72%.

The Sept. 14 polls are the first parliamentary elections in BARMM, with nearly 2.4 million registered voters choosing representatives for the autonomous region’s 80-member Parliament.
The Parliament is composed of 40 regional party representatives, 32 district representatives and eight sectoral representatives.
PPCRV’s precinct coverage and partial vote figures may continue to change as additional results are received and reflected in its parallel count. /mcm
