Make your own ceramic artwork at Aromdee Art Studio

For a slower weekend activity, Aromdee Art Studio offers visitors the chance to try their hand at pottery and ceramics in a beginner-friendly setting.

Bangkok Underground Riverside 2026

Bangkok Underground Riverside brings modified cars and Japanese street-car culture to the riverside this Sunday, taking over two parking levels at Terminal 21 Rama 3. This year’s event follows a The Fast Tokyo Drift theme, with customised builds, DJs and photo areas spread throughout the venue.
Among the cars on display are an RX-7 and 180SX fitted with Liberty Walk kits, alongside builds connected to Japan’s Top Secret tuning team and other modified-car communities. Rather than a formal motor show, the atmosphere is closer to a large car meet where visitors can walk between the vehicles, take photos and spend some time around Bangkok’s enthusiast scene.
Entry is free, and the event runs from noon until 9pm, making it easy to drop in during the afternoon or stay into the evening when the riverside setting starts to come into its own.
Skyline Film x Dib Bangkok

Dib Bangkok is turning part of the museum into a temporary cinema for three evenings with Skyline Film, pairing films with the architecture and atmosphere of one of Bangkok’s newer contemporary art spaces.
The programme begins on Friday with Once and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, followed by The Proposal and Cinema Paradiso on Saturday. Sunday closes the weekend with The Grand Budapest Hotel and Materialists. Each ticket costs 500 baht and includes one drink.
The setting gives the screenings more character than a normal trip to the cinema. Visitors can spend time around Dib Bangkok before settling in for the film, with the museum’s architecture, artworks and changing evening light forming part of the experience.
FREAK OUT at ChangChui Creative Park

ChangChui Creative Park has always been one of Bangkok’s more unusual places to spend an evening, combining art installations, food, drinks and creative spaces in one large outdoor venue.
FREAK OUT brings another layer of entertainment to the park, with performances and activities creating a more relaxed night out compared with a typical concert venue or bar.
The setting is a big part of the experience. Visitors can walk around the creative park, explore its installations and enjoy the atmosphere before or after the main programme.

SATO SO GOOD brings something a little different to the Chao Phraya this weekend, turning Yodpiman River Walk into what is being billed as Thailand’s first festival dedicated to sato. The event focuses on Thai rice wine and fruit wine, with more than 30 producers and over 70 varieties gathered in one place.
There is more to it than simply tasting drinks. The programme also includes daily sato-making workshops, talks with producers about fermentation and brewing, and Thai food pairings that give the festival a stronger local-food angle than a standard drinks event.
With the river beside it and music from Durian Radio helping carry things into the evening, it feels more like a relaxed cultural hangout than a formal tasting fair. For anyone curious about one of Thailand’s oldest traditional alcoholic drinks, this is an easy way to try it in a setting that is both social and unusually specific.
