A commitment to the Philippine government to remove harmful artificial intelligence (AI)-generated deepfakes from its platforms and cooperate with investigations on cybercrime and other online threats has been made by American technology firm Meta Platforms Inc., which owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
