What Happens to Norman, Olivia, Jules and Roy?
After the events of the last season, Norman, Olivia, Jules and Roy find themselves behind bars after which Horace learns a hell lot about what his family has been up to. He gets to know that he was being poisoned at his own hospital, with Norman behind the ordeal, which leaves him furious. He seeks revenge, but before he can, Norman wiggles his way out of prison. Meanwhile, Roy suffers from withdrawals, which ultimately puts him in the hospital from an OD, while Olivia is left distraught at time running out on repaying her lenders.
In the aftermath of this mess, Norman is shot by Mallory, which leaves him half dead. In a bizarre turn of events, Norman and Horace end up shooting each other afterwards, which lands them in the hospital as well.
Why Does Charles Take His Own Life?
After Olivia is caught, she threatens Charles to get her money for her loan repayment in exchange for not giving away evidence of him murdering a bunch of people in the last season. Charles is distraught and desperately asks Horace for help, which he refuses. With no other avenue, he decides to take his own life. Thankfully, Varney rescues him and assures him that he will help, and he sticks by his word.
In the end, Charles turns his life around and realises his self-destructive path in the past, embracing Varney’s love and agreeing to be exclusive with him, while choosing to go to rehab to better his life.
What Leads to Horace Becoming Cold to Kimmie?
The third season sees a surprising turn for Horace. While he was always cold and calculated, the third season sees him even more so as he speaks rudely to Kimmie and refuses to open up to her. We eventually learn that he’s suffering from accepting his sexuality and refuses to come out of the closet because, according to him, it makes him weak. That’s why he hates Charles so much – his son is free to be and love whoever he wants, and that makes him jealous.
Kimmie is able to sense this unease and emotional turmoil and reaches out to him several times, but every time he stops her from getting close. However, in the end, Charles walks in on Angel dancing for Horace at his home, which opens the case wide open. It gives Horace a chance to look at his own opinions, while it gives Charles the answers that he needed to turn his life around.
Why Does a Shootout Occur at Rain’s Club?
Throughout the season, we see Jules searching for his son’s killers. In Beauty in Black Season 3, Sylvie, unable to accept everything that has happened around her, chooses to go back and live with her abusive mother and eventually decides to tell everything to the police. However, Jules gets to her first and kills everyone, but not before learning that Rain had killed Glen. The last scene shows Jules at the club facing Rain in her office, as his men shoot everyone outside, causing a bloodbath. Armed and dangerous, he might just kill her too, but we will have to wait till the next set of episodes to find out!
