Final Project Ending Explained
Who Is Violetta?
Tamara turns into Violetta after facing a ton of bullying from Samantha and Pato. Shy and goth, Tamara doesn’t fit into the aesthetic of the school, where the girls are vicious and will leave no stone unturned to tear each other down. Meanwhile, popular kid Xavi, too, takes a special interest in Tamara, at first betting on taking her virginity and eventually falling for her instead. However, when she is betrayed by those she trusts in school, she is left heartbroken and traumatised and decides to leave behind the person who is always taken advantage of and, instead, finds herself once again as Violetta.

Violetta is strong and resilient and doesn’t think twice before taking advantage of someone for her own gain, and thus, through her, she gets the courage to face those who want to harm her.
Who Tried to Kill Tamara?
Tamara learns in the end that it wasn’t Xavi who harmed her as she had previously thought – it was Samantha and Pato who spiked her drink and locked her in a coffin inside Xavi’s house. When he tried to get her out, Samantha attacked her and left her unconscious, thinking that she had died. This realisation leaves her heartbroken but not shocked, as she knew that there was something wrong with Samantha and Pato.
Why Does Tamara Return?

Tamara returns to get revenge. Although at first she had given up on leaving the house, she eventually finds the strength to go up against those who tried to kill her and teach them a lesson. She didn’t want them to get off scot-free, and thus she also worked with the police to get sufficient evidence against those she thought were after her assault.
Does Tamara Get Justice?

Tamara gets justice in many ways. Samantha, Xavi and Pato are arrested by the police, and it eventually comes out that Xavi’s corrupt prosecutor father was behind getting her previous school teacher to get off scot-free. In the end, Tamara is left relieved and lighter at having gotten the justice that she has always been looking for.
What Happens to Daniel?

Daniel, Tamara’s friend, is always shooting everything, apparently for a final project. However, as it turns out, he isn’t mentally well and has been torturing Tamara for all this time, threatening to leak her previous school’s problems. Plus, in episodes 19 and 20, we see him kidnapping Xavi and torturing him for his documentary, calling himself a genius, and eventually, thanks to Tamara, Xavi is able to get out alive, although brutally attacked.
What Does the Ending Really Mean?

The ending highlights that regardless of who we are, our bad choices will come back to haunt us sooner or later. Tamara, who has been desperate to find one shred of justice and constantly pushed around by those around her, finds the strength to make the truth be seen and, despite massive pushback from all around, she achieves what she has been looking for. It’s a hopeful ending that shows Tamara and Xavi finally reconciling.
