MANILA – A low-pressure area (LPA) outside the country could enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this week and potentially intensify into a typhoon by the weekend. “It could possibly develop into a tropical depression by Wednesday and likely reach the typhoon category during the weekend,” Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA)
