MANILA, Philippines — The results of the first Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Parliamentary elections are available on the official website of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
The historic and first parliamentary elections are being held in the region on Monday, September 14, after four postponements.

In a Facebook post, the Comelec said that the website will publish real-time transmission of partial unofficial results of the elections: https://barmmpelectionresults.comelec.gov.ph/dashboard
“Transmission shall commence after the closing of polls at 7:00 p.m. and printing of the first nine (9) copies of Election Returns (ERs),” the poll body said.
The Comelec has placed Cotabato City and Maluso, Basilan under Comelec control after reports of violence and compromised official ballots. Under Comelec control, the poll body directly supervises law enforcement agencies, officials, and employees.
Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region said that two separate explosions were reported in Cotabato City on Sunday night, where one person was injured in the first incident while no casualties were reported in the second.

However, a shooting incident occurred near a polling center in Barangay Bagua around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, killing three people and leaving 15 others injured.
Meanwhile, the Comelec discovered that ballots of 36 out of 68 precincts in Maluso, Basilan were already pre-shaded and compromised. The poll body then ordered the ballots reprinted.
The parliamentary elections are set to fill the 80-seat parliament, with 40 seats allotted to political parties, 32 to district representatives, and 8 to sectoral organizations. /jpv
