MALIDAGAO, BARMM-SGA — A blast believed to be from a grenade was heard outside the compound of the Nabundas Elementary School in Barangay Nabundas of Malidagao town in the Special Geographic Area of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) at 11:25 a.m. on Monday.
The explosion happened as throngs of voters were waiting in line for their chance to cast ballots in the first-ever regional parliamentary elections.
Some people left the queue, but they did not go outside the polling area, saying they believed the explosion was only meant to scare them.
