Amor Vittone has deleted all traces of her engagement to partner Marius van Biljon on her social media platforms. Fans of the singer and actress – the widow of Springbok Joost van der Westhuizen – have also grown suspicious over his absence – and her engagement ring – in her posts.
The businessman and radio personality popped the question in January after the couple went public with their relationship weeks before.
AMOR VITTONE SPARKS RUMOURS OVER ENGAGEMENT
On her Facebook account, followers of Amor Vittone have begun voicing suspicions about her relationship status. This, after the 54-year-old was seen without her engagement ring – and minus her fiancé, Marius van Biljon, during a recent vacation.
One asked: “Where is Marius van Biljon, your fiancé?” Another posted: “Wondering if they were still a couple🤔”.
A third commented: “Don’t see the engagement ring”.
The actress and singer has also deleted the post announcing her engagement.
“I said yes”, she captioned a social media post in January of her engagement ring from her partner, who, like her, lost his spouse to illness.
The proposal took place during the couple’s trip to Eersterivierstrand, located along the Tsitsikamma coast in the Eastern Cape.

Marius surprised his entertainer partner with a ring on the beach. The couple later toasted to the celebration with a bottle of champagne.
Amor and Marius began their relationship late last year, a few months after his wife Shannon van Biljon’s death in July.
The South African contacted Amor Vittone and Marius van Biljon for comment. None was received at the time of publishing.
‘WHEN YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW’…
Speaking to Jacaranda FM just days before their engagement was announced, Amor Vittone and Marius van Biljon discussed their romance.
The mom-of-two claimed that she was “ok with being single” before she met Marius.
The couple met in September when Amor was a guest performer at Marius’s Pretoria family restaurant, Captain’s Island.
Two months later, they reunited and exchanged numbers.
She said, “There was a vibe between us from the beginning. Everyone saw that we would end up together. It’s one of those relationships where you meet and just now.”
Marius added: “When you know, you know. We’re not forcing anything. It just happened, we take it as it comes”.
