Synopsis
After a sudden change in her family circumstances, young Shu Wan (Sarah Sullivan) is taken to Beicheng by Meng Huaijin (Julian Hayes), and the two begin living together. What starts as distant care and quiet concern gradually grows into unspoken feelings between them.
Once Shu Wan realizes her love, she bravely confesses with all her sincerity, hoping for a clear answer. Yet Meng Huaijin keeps his distance, holding himself back with restraint. Their relationship is repeatedly pulled between passion and reason. From his initial calm detachment and self-control, Meng Huaijin eventually lets go of his worries, unable to hide his feelings for her any longer.
