Meant to Be is a romance short drama, directed by Zahi Shifan, starring Yu Yin and Wang Kaimu.
The drama tells the story of Jiang Zhi (Sarah Harrison), who breaks up with her boyfriend Song Zhao (Jase Roberts) after uncovering his deception. On a snowy night, she unexpectedly reunites with her childhood sweetheart, Xie Chi (Greyson), and ultimately rediscovers warmth and love.

Synopsis
Jiang Zhi (Sarah Harrison) lost her mother at a young age, and her biological father is unknown. She was raised by her grandmother, who brought her up with great care and instilled in her a gentle and obedient nature. The only time Jiang Zhi ever defied her grandmother was for Song Zhao (Jase Roberts) —she called off the childhood betrothal her grandmother had arranged between her and Xie Chi (Greyson).
After the engagement was broken, Xie Chi went abroad following the college entrance exams. When he eventually returned, he had become the new head of Chenjiang Group, while Jiang Zhi was already in a relationship with Song Zhao.
Though Xie Chi had secretly loved Jiang Zhi for many years and felt a sense of loss, he still sincerely wished for her happiness and even prepared a dowry for her, hoping she would achieve the love she desired.
