Now or Never is a historical drama starring Ao Ruipeng, Dai Luwa, Zhou Qi, and Bian Cheng.

The story follows Chen Yi, the sole survivor of the Chen family, masters of mechanical arts in the Dafeng Kingdom. Framed as a fugitive by the Baihui Society, he flees with his close friend Ye Bo (also known as Dian Cang) to the border town of Fengze City to uncover the truth behind his family’s massacre. There, he discovers that the Baihui Society has allied with the Xiling Kingdom in a plot to overthrow Dafeng. Chen Yi joins forces with his companions to root out the enemy within, repairs the border defense mechanism to repel foreign invaders, and finally clears his family’s name. After achieving justice, he declines rewards from both kingdoms and retires from public life.

Synopsis

Chen Yi, an orphan of the Tianji legacy, is falsely accused and hunted. Together with his friend Dian Cang, the wedding business owner Lv Luo, and the funeral parlor heir Zhou Peng, he ventures into desperate places to pursue the truth.
