Cebu City, Philippines — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake has struck Medellin, Cebu, at around 2:48 p.m on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs-DOST). State seismologists reported that quake had a depth of 2 kilometers, located at 11.12°N, 124.06°E – 011 km S 83° E of Medellin, Cebu.
