MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Embassy in France has reminded Filipinos in the country that cockfighting is prohibited under French law following reports of Filipinos organizing cockfighting events and related illegal gambling activities. In an advisory issued Monday, the embassy said French authorities had raised concerns over cockfighting activities involving some Filipinos, including illegal gambling.
